Optical Network (ORION) is pleased to welcome David Drury, General
Manager of IBM's Global Technology Services in Canada to the Board of
Directors. With his appointment, Ontario's backbone of innovation gains
another leading technology visionary.
With his breadth of experience in the field of IT, along with his
fine-tuned knowledge of service delivery, Drury will be a key player in
bringing ORION's services forward and will be an asset to ORION's
diverse user base in adopting new technologies and services.

In addition to serving as an ORION Board Member, Drury leads IBM
Canada's technology solutions business, leveraging emergent
technologies to help clients realize their own strategic objectives
through IBM's key offerings in managed security, big data and
analytics, cloud computing, and mobility.

During his 29-year career with IBM, David has served as the Vice
President of Financial Services and Insurance, the Director of Business
Partners in the Global Financial Services Sector for IBM, and also as
the Director of Property and Casualty Insurance Solutions for the
Global Insurance Industry. David also currently serves on the boards
for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation's Leaders for the Cure; and as chair of the Board of
Governors, Junior Achievement of Central Ontario.
