Media Advisory - Government and Experts Discuss Financial Barriers Faced by
Canadian Newcomers
TORONTO, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - Credit Canada and Capital One Canada will be kicking off the fourth annual Credit Education Week with a gathering of financial experts to explore how government and community can collectively reduce the barriers that newcomers to Canada face when accessing our financial system.
WHAT: The speakers will discuss the new findings from the Credit
Education Week Canada national survey that explores the financial
behaviour and attitudes of newcomers to Canada and Canadians who
were born here. The general public is welcome to attend to learn
from the experts and ask advice on how to manage their money more
effectively.
