Canada Dominion Resources 2010 Limited Partnership Raises $25.3 Million on
First Closing

TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - Canada Dominion Resources 2010 Limited Partnership (the "Partnership"), managed by Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd. and sub-advised by UTA Asset Management Corp. as well as Ned Goodman Investment Counsel Limited (formerly, Ravensden Asset Management Inc.), announces that it has completed the first closing of its initial public offering of limited partnership units (the "Units"). The Partnership, which is registered in all provinces and territories in Canada, sold 1,012,976 Units for gross proceeds of $25,324,400 million. The Partnership will have a second closing on or about April 8, 2010.

The Partnership's investment objective is to provide a tax-assisted investment in a diversified portfolio of flow-through shares and other securities, if any, of resource companies with a view to earning income and achieving capital appreciation for limited partners. The Partnership will enter into share purchase agreements with resource companies under which such companies will agree to issue flow-through shares and other securities, if any, to the Partnership, incur Canadian exploration expenses ("CEE") in carrying out exploration in Canada and renounce CEE to the Partnership. Limited partners with sufficient income will be entitled to claim deductions for Canadian federal income tax purposes in respect of CEE incurred and renounced to the Partnership and may be entitled to certain investment tax credits deductible from tax payable. The Partnership intends to provide liquidity to limited partners prior to July 1, 2012 upon completion of an exchange transaction ("Mutual Fund Rollover Transaction") with Dynamic Managed Portfolios Ltd. ("DMP Ltd."), pursuant to which limited partners will receive redeemable DMP Resource Class shares on a tax-deferred basis. DMP Ltd., an open-ended mutual fund corporation, offers multiple classes of mutual fund shares including DMP Resource Class.
