VANCOUVER, June 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Ronald McDonald House B.C. & Yukon is celebrating the groundbreaking of a new larger $28.8-million house.
In attendance will be Minister of Children and Family Development Mary McNeil, Vancouver-Fairview MLA Dr. Margaret MacDiarmid, Ronald McDonald House B.C. & Yukon President and Chair Peter Snell, Ronald McDonald House B.C. & Yukon CEO Richard Pass and Ronald McDonald House B.C. & Yukon Capital Campaign Chair Gary Segal.
The House is a vital resource to the residents of B.C., Yukon and Western Canada and acts as a home-away-from-home for children requiring medical treatment at B.C. Children's Hospital and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, and for their families.
