    YakCell Enables Canadians to Vote for their Favourite Delegate and a
    Chance to Win a Trip for Two to Mexico

    TORONTO, March 1 /CNW/ - Yak Communications (Canada) Corp. (a subsidiary

People's Choice Award, in partnership with Impact Mobile and Beauties of
    The Yak People's Choice Award permits Canadians to vote online or by text
message from their mobile phones for their favorite delegate at Sunday's Miss
Universe Canada Pageant. The Pageant holds the exclusive rights to send a
Canadian representative to the 2007 Miss Universe Pageant.
    "In this age of viewer-participation programs, such as Canadian Idol,
television viewers have shown an appetite to be an active player in televised
broadcasts," said Ezio D'Onofrio, Globalive's President and Chief Operating
Officer. "The YakCell platform will give Canadians the tool they need to vote
for their favourite delegate competing to be the next Miss Universe Canada."
    To participate, Canadians can visit to vote for
their favourite delegate. Participants have the option to text their vote for
a 50 cent premium charge, or vote online for free. Each text vote translates
into one entry in a draw to win a trip for two to Mexico(*) including airfare
and hotel accommodations, sponsored by Go See Mexico.
    Yak provides the YakCell platform in partnership with Impact Mobile,
enabling the public to vote using SMS text messaging.

representative at the Miss Universe Pageant. YakCell is giving Canadians the
chance to 'be the judge' in our first-ever People's Choice component in the

    YakCell is also providing free calling capability to media participants
and providing the winner of the Yak People's Choice Award with complimentary
long distance calling on her cell phone for the duration of one year.
    Yak will be presenting the winner of the Yak People's Choice Award with
six months of free long distance calling from their cell phone. YAK will also
be awarding Miss Universe Canada 2007 with one full year of long distance

    (*) No purchase necessary. Total retail value of the prize is $2,000.
        Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Entries must be
        received by March 3, 2007. Selected entrant must correctly answer
