Xerox Canada appoints director of sustainability

    Position strengthens company's commitment to environmental action

    OTTAWA, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Xerox Canada Inc. today announced the appointment
of Emechete (Eme) Onuoha to director, federal government relations and
    Mr. Onuoha joined Xerox Canada in 2007 and was promoted to his current
position in January 2008, following a 12 year career with the federal
government. In his new role, Onuoha will be responsible for coordinating and
advancing all aspects of Xerox Canada's sustainability agenda and related
stakeholder engagement.

and depth of experience with Canadian public policy make him ideally suited to
be at the forefront of Xerox Canada's future environmental strategy."
    Mr. Onuoha brings significant Canadian and international public policy
and legislative experience to his new role. He has held several senior
positions within the Government of Canada including: director of operations at
the Privy Council Office responsible for the strategic policy development
process associated with the provision of advice to the Prime Minister; vice
president of the Canadian Commercial Corporation (Canada's international
contracting agency); chief of staff in the office of the minister of National
Defense; and adviser on trade and consultation policy in the office of the
Minister of International Trade.
    Onuoha holds an honors degree in international relations from McMaster
University and an executive MBA from Queen's University. He is a member of the
McMaster University Board of Governors.
