Chief Executive Officer of Kolombo Technologies Ltd "Kolombo" (TSX Venture
Exchange: KOL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Xavier Giraud to
the Company's board of directors.
Mr. Giraud is currently a senior partner and Chairman of the board of
Victrix Inc., a Montreal company offering information technology consulting
services. Among its clients, Victrix serves, notably, Hydro-Quebec, Desjardins
Group and Bombardier. He is also President and the sole shareholder of Europ
Auto Holidays, a renowned company in the Canadian tourism industry founded
some forty years ago. This firm, which has locations in Montreal and Toronto,
also works as the exclusive Canadian representative of the Peugeot Eurolease
During his career, Mr. Giraud also founded the Androne Group, which
merged with Brime Technologies group in June 2000. He was Vice-President of
the Group's board of directors and board of trustees. This company had more
than 2,800 engineers, one thousand of which were under Mr. Giraud's direct
supervision. In addition to managing a budget of more than $100 million, he
also carried out several major acquisitions in Europe and Canada.
