X-Ore intersects 15.24 meters of 1.26 g/t Au and 182 g/t Ag on the Natora Project

    VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC, Jan. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - X-Ore Resources Inc. (TSXV - XOR)
("X-Ore") is pleased to announce the successful completion of its 2007 drill
program. A total of 26 holes were completed for a campaign total of
3,428 meters.
Twenty-four (24) holes were completed on the Piedra Rodante (PR)
mineralized area which consists of a main north-south structure and a
north-west oriented one located 500 meters east. The main N-S structure was
traced by geophysics and by sporadic surface trenching over a strike length of
more than 2 kilometers. It extends north from the discovery diamond drill
holes, PR-06-01 and PR-06-02 that returned 2.9 g/t Au and 177 g/t Ag over 4 m
and 2.25 g/t Au et 317 g/t Ag over 7 m respectively.
Best results of the 2007 drill campaign were obtained from holes PR-07-19
and 07-20. Hole PR-07-19 was drilled approximately 50 meters below the
intersections from holes PR-06-01 and 02, while PR-07-20 was drilled
100 meters south of hole PR-07-19.
The table below shows the best results for the 2007 drilling campaign.

While the argillized and silicified structure was successfully
intersected by drilling in the northern part of the main N-S zone, it returned
only low Au and Ag values.
The north-west oriented mineralized structure, discovered in 2007 by
surface sampling, returned values up to 0.64 g/t Au and 25.2 g/t Ag over
19.81 m in a breccia zone extending over 400 meters in strike length. Both
north-south and north-west zones are open at depth.
The drilling in the Cusalito zone did not return any significant
A total of 829 drill core and rock chip samples were sent to the ALS
Chemex preparation laboratory in Hermosillo. Fire assays of 50 gram pulp
samples (Au-AA26) finalized with atomic absorption were performed at the ALS
Chemex laboratory in Vancouver. X-Ore has established its own quality control
program with regular insertion of blanks and standards.

    Management discussion

The 100% X-Ore owned Natora property consists of 48,000 hectares located
in the world class Sierra Madre Gold Belt, 15 km west of the Dolores Mine
(Minefinder) and 40 km north of the Mulatos Mine (Alamos Gold).
The discovery of the Piedra Rodante Au-Ag bearing structures resulted
from a systematic evaluation of Aster satellite imagery colour anomalies. At
first glance, the new drill data shows several orientations of mineralized
structures. The fact that the mineralization at Piedra Rodante is found in
more than one type of structure indicates a more complex and widespread
mineralizing event than previously thought. This type of structural
environment suggests a similar setting as the Mulatos Mines. The data gathered
throughout this drill campaign is being compiled for final interpretation and
target generation.
Meanwhile, systematic evaluation of vast alteration zones outlined by
satellite imagery is continuing on the property. These alteration zones are
similar to the one observed over Piedra Rodante, but cover much larger areas
in the northern part of the property. These are called Paramo, Chamada and
Tumicaya and are located approximately 25 km W-NW, 15 km NW and 7 km NE
respectively from the Piedra Rodante zone.
