Wounded Veterans recuperating in hospitals receive quality of life entertainment packs

MONTREAL, Aug. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Wounded Veterans recuperating in
hospitals receive quality of life entertainment packs from Canadians wishing
to support troops undergoing treatment. Rehabilitation leaves personnel
bed-ridden for lengthy periods and the Sapper Mike McTeague Wounded Warrior
Fund aims to improve morale with gifts to comfort or entertain them.
"Rehabilitation is traumatic enough," says Montrealer Diego De Simone,
who sends copies of Muscle Car News magazine in gift packs. "Service personnel
need a morale boost when they are vulnerable. We can all help in some way."
Warrior Packs contain personal blankets, DVD-MP3s, etc.
