Women in Games International is Mixing it Up in Vancouver

    WIGI Presents Networking for Interactive Entertainment Pros September

    VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, September 19 /CNW/ - Women in Games
International (WIGI), a non-profit organization in the interactive
entertainment industry, will be hosting a community mixer and networking event
as a way to encourage local members to get to know regional peers and to spend
a relaxing evening socializing. Admission is free. Appetizers and beverages
will be offered.

    "We're very excited about this event," says Sheri Graner Ray, Chair of
the Women in Games International's Steering Committee. "It's been a very
successful series and every new city means another opportunity for us to
connect the local game communities."

    Deep Fried Entertainment (DFE) is a Vancouver-based DS, WII and PSP

Brenda Bailey encourages women to get involved in the video game industry,

    DFE created the title "Full Auto 2: Battlelines PSP" for Sega which went

titles with a large US Publisher. The first title of this series will be

downtown Vancouver, Canada. As a Center for Creative Excellence for Disney
Interactive Studios - an affiliate of The Walt Disney Company - we make
action/adventure titles with gripping storylines, stunning visuals and

    Threewave Software

    Threewave Software is the premier video game development studio focused
