TELUS World Skins charity auction on now in support of Opération Enfant
QUEBEC CITY, QC, May 14 /CNW/ - Now until June 7th, golf fans can help
improve the quality of life for thousands of sick kids in Quebec by bidding on
exciting golfing experiences at the 2009 TELUS World Skins Game in support of
Opération Enfant Soleil. Six different packages will be up for grabs
including, the chance to play in a Pro-Am tournament on June 21st, the unique
opportunity to learn from a real PGA caddie and the thrill of serving as one
of the world's top PGA golf star's personal caddie during the TELUS World
Skins Game taking place at La Tempête Golf Club in Lévis, Québec on June 22nd

spots to support Opération Enfant Soleil and who will offer the experience of

- From May 8th to 18th: Bids are already climbing on a PGA TOUR bag
autographed by Geoff Ogilvy, the chance for four friends to play in a
Pro-Am event at La Tempête Golf Club on June 21st and to attend the
TELUS World Skins Game on the following days. This enticing auction
package will only be available for bid for a few more days. Fans
should act quickly!
- From May 18th to 28th: The experience of a lifetime: the chance to
serve as the personal caddie for Fred Couples, Ian Poulter or Geoff
Ogilvy. Each caddie package includes two nights' luxury
accommodations at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac hotel; travel to
and from the golf course each day, a signed photo of the players, a
two-day "grounds pass" to the TELUS World Skins Game for the winner's
guest and unlimited bragging rights.
- From May 28th to June 7th: The ultimate caddie experience: Learn how
to be a real PGA TOUR caddie by working alongside Neil Wallace or
Brennan Little, caddies for Trevor Immelman and Mike Weir, while
carrying the pros' clubs during the two-day TELUS World Skins Game.
Each package includes two nights' luxury accommodations at the
Fairmont Le Château Frontenac hotel; travel to and from the golf
course each day, a signed photo of the players, a two-day "grounds

Since 2006, more than $126,000 has been raised from TELUS World Skins
auctions in support of local charities. Opération Enfant Soleil, an
organization that invests in the development of quality pediatric care in
Quebec, will use the money raised this year to equip the Centre hospitalier
universitaire de Québec's Centre mère-enfant's surgical unit with the latest
in multimedia technology to facilitate complex pediatric heart surgeries. The
new system's extensive connectivity will enable real-time participation in
surgeries from anywhere, thereby improving educational opportunities and
providing quick access to specialists, all of which will increase the success
rate of the procedures.

Enfant Soleil can provide sick children with high-level care in their regions
and state-of-the-art treatments in the four major pediatric centres," said

for a wide-variety of charities across Canada. These charities have a strong
focus on Canada's youth through the 'Charity on the Course' program which
