VANCOUVER, June 14 /CNW/ - WesternOne Equity Income Fund ("WesternOne
Equity") (TSXV: WEQ.UN and WEQ.DB) today announced that the over-allotment
option associated with WesternOne Equity's June 1, 2007 offering of its trust
units ("Units") has been fully exercised by its syndicate of agents, resulting
in the issuance by WesternOne Equity of 675,000 additional Units at a price of
$4.00 per Unit for gross proceeds of $2.7 million. Closing of the exercise
occurred this morning before the opening of the market.
The net proceeds from the exercise of the over-allotment option will be
used for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions.
The syndicate of agents was co-led by Blackmont Capital Inc. and Dundee
Securities Corporation, and included Canaccord Capital Corp. Raymond James
Ltd., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. and Sora Group Wealth Advisors Inc.
