Watch announces drilling program results

    CALGARY, March 14 /CNW/ - WATCH RE

SOURCES LTD. ("Watch" or the "Company") is pleased to release the following update on its first eleven (11) well drilling program for 2007. The Company has just finished drilling eleven (11) gross wells (11 net; or 8.25 net if the Company's Metis partners fully participate) and has cased one (1) gas well and ten (10) potential oil wells on the whole program for 100% success. The wells are expected to be completed as soon as practicable as equipment and spring break-up permits and certain completion work has already commenced. The potential gas well in the colony is located in close proximity to a gas pipeline and accordingly, is presently anticipated to be tied-in after testing. The oil wells presently show several potential pay zones on logs and cores. Up to seven (7) potential pay zones have been identified on logs with most of the wells currently exhibiting potential in at least three to five zones. It is anticipated that multi-zone completions will be attempted on certain wells while single zone completions to acquire as much technical information as possible on those individual zones will be undertaken on others. The 100% success of the Company on the initial portion of its 2007 drilling program has encouraged the Company to undertake not only the eight (8) oil well drilling program already planned for after spring break-up in sections 1&12, Twp. 58 Rge. 3 W4M, but also consider several other potential wells on acreage to the east and abutting the current drilling program. The Company has been very encouraged with the cost efficiencies of this round of drilling as costs have been significantly below the AFE costs and this is currently expected to allow the Company access to capital required to drill other potential wells early in 2007. It is presently anticipated that lands on the south end of the core project area, as well as lands south and west of this core area on the Company's Dewberry project, may also be drilled if costs continue to fall below budgeted amounts as seen to-date. For any clarification on the above items please contact the Company directly in the City of Calgary at (403) 265-1951. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF WATCH RE
