Vincor Canada Sweeps Gold

    - Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin Estate Wines Win Gold, Silver and Bronze
    at Gold Medal Plates Regional Competition in Toronto -

    MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - Vincor Canada, the Official Supplier of
Wine for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, is pleased to announce its
Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin estate wines claimed top honours at the
regional Gold Medal Plates competition in Toronto on October 16, 2008, winning
Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.

class VQA wines to accompany world class cuisine," said Jay Wright, President

viticulture and winemaking teams at Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin under the

    The regional Gold Medal Plates competition brought together Toronto's
finest chefs, many of Ontario's premium VQA wines and our Olympic award
winning athletes. Olympic and Paralympic athletes assisted competing chefs,
together creating and serving their signature dish to the 500+ guests
attending the event held at the Fairmont Royal York. A panel of culinary
judges selected the gold, silver and bronze winners; the gold medal winning
chef Patrick Lin from Sen5es, Toronto will go on to compete at the Canadian
Culinary Championships next February in Banff, Alberta.
