Video B-Roll Available Via CNW - EarthRenew Bullish on Applications for its Clean Technologies

TORONTO, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - The following B-Roll is available by Broadcast
On-Demand web download:

This is a visual story with many angles: the economy (growing in a global
recession, creating new jobs), revolutionary eco-efficient technologies
applied to green waste (NOT biogas, NOT composting but totally different
approaches with a solid global patent portfolio), the environment
(contributing solutions to critical problems like getting rid of manure, green
waste and wastes in water, renewing the soil, reducing greenhouse gas, saving
It's a global story that will be told, for the first time publicly on
Feb. 4, 2009 at an official opening of a facility where these revolutionary
clean technologies have been successfully commercialized.
Essentially, it's about ingenuity and entrepreneurship, taking the
exhaust from an industrial gas turbine, applying it directly in heat
processing cattle manure while generating enough electricity to power over
4,000 Alberta homes per month.
The facility uses this energy-efficient process to cook large volumes of
fresh cattle manure to produce a new kind of patented Organic Matter

25,000 head of cattle provide 15-25 truckloads of manure a day
Fresh manure is sifted to remove rocks and sticks
Sifted manure or 'input' is lifted up into apron feeder for processing
    Processing is computerized
Conveyor takes product up to processing area
In processing area high heat 'cooks' the manure product
Manure product is further processed into Organic Matter Fertilizer
Pellets are stored --a small bin can hold 700 tons
Organic Matter Fertilizer pellets are conveyed up and loaded into the
The B-Train holds 42 tons and loads in an hour
Three entrepreneurs handling the fresh manure product and fertilizer

    The Technologies

EarthRenew's first application of technologies at facility near
    Strathmore, AB
Natural gas fuels the industrial turbine
Turbine-exhaust produces extreme heat, spin generates electricity
Process control and voltage regulator area is safe and secure
Power area where electricity generated is sent to the power grid
