Mississauga mother wins her Nissan Versa
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 19 /CNW/ - As the Nissan Versa celebrates its
first birthday in Canada, the larger-than-life small car is still making its
mark with consumers. Sandra Gardiman-Zelazko of Mississauga, Ontario is the
proud new owner of a 2007 Nissan Versa as the official first winner of the
Versa Project contest.
"I can't believe I've won my new Nissan Versa - I knew I should have
opted for the sunroof," said Gardiman-Zlazko. "I was told this was going to be
a good year!"
After spending more than $300 in gas per month, Gardiman-Zelazko decided
to buy a new, more fuel-efficient car and chose the Nissan Versa for several
reasons including its roominess, features and affordable price. She was only
too thrilled to find out she won the Versa Project, Nissan's fall contest
allowing customers who have purchased a 2007 Versa to enter and potentially
win their purchase. Starting late last month, the contest will have one winner
per week for 10 weeks.
"We're very excited to announce Ms. Gardiman-Zelazko as the first Versa
Project winner," said Wendy Durward, Director, Marketing Communications,
Nissan Canada Inc. "Versa has been very popular among Canadians so far and we
wanted to reward some lucky buyers for embracing this new product."
Gardiman-Zelazko bought her Versa at Woodchester Nissan in Mississauga.
With the money she's saving from winning the car, Gardiman-Zelazko is planning
for home renovations and taking her five-year-old son on his first vacation.
