Ven Côté takes top honours as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2008 for the Prairies region

CALGARY, Oct. 22 /CNW/ - A visionary who transformed his industry, Ven
Côté of ZCL Composites Inc., is the Prairies' Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of
The Year 2008 Award recipient.
"Ven Côté has propelled ZCL forward with his unrelenting drive, and
long-term vision," said Barry Munro, Director of the Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program for the Prairies region. "Under Mr.
Côté's leadership, ZCL has capitalized on opportunities and overcome obstacles
for more than 20 years, becoming a true industry leader."
Mr. Côté is President and CEO of ZCL, which he purchased in 1987. In the
years since, he has grown the company into Canada's leading designer,

technologies that have set the standards for economical, environmentally-safe
and long-lasting liquid storage. ZCL is North America's largest manufacturer
of fibreglass underground storage tanks, with more than 500 employees and 13
manufacturing facilities across Canada, the US and the Netherlands. Many of
Canada's largest petroleum marketers and oil companies now use ZCL fibreglass
tanks for the safe, underground storage of their products. Last night, Mr.
