During the BC Poker Championships, the local poker players had a chance face-off against a number of poker professionals such as Greg 'FBT' Mueller, Lacey Jones, Gavin Smith and Shawn Buchanan.

This year some 474 players entered the main event in hopes of winning one of Canada's biggest poker tournaments.

"We had some very talented poker players attend this year's tournament and we look forward to next year's event," said Howard Blank, Vice President, Communications, Entertainment and Responsible Gaming with the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.

This event could not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the River Rock Casino poker team and all those involved in making this poker tournament such a success.
