VANCOUVER, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - It's Valentine's time again and for many
Vancouver couples this means romantic candle-lit dining, wine and of course
candy, the Candy Girl Cabaret that is.
The Candy Girl Cabaret represents a new era of romantic entertainment
performed by Vancouver's elite singers and dancers in the style known as
Broadway Burlesque is a beautiful, powerful, feminine and very sexy style
of dance developed and taught by Leigh Torlage, creator of the Candy Girl
Cabaret (performing credits include Chicago the Movie, Woody Allen's Bullets
over Broadway & West Side Story Broadway tours).
Sexy, classy, romantic entertainment has never been more popular. This
could explain why Leigh's Candy Girls are some of the busiest artists in
Vancouver performing weekly often to sold out houses at Maxine's Hideaway.
Maxine's is a Vancouver mansion and heritage landmark known for its romantic
dining and for featuring some of the best dinner and late night shows in town
such as the Candy Girl Cabaret and the all-male version the Oh Boy! Cabaret.
"Once you've experienced it, it's easy to see why people are drawn to
Maxine's," says restaurant manager Peter McDonagh. This year's Valentine's
event will surely sell out again and the Candy Girl's Pre-Valentine's Lingerie
Event on the 13th is getting lots of attention too.
As many Vancouver couples already know kindling romance goes very well
with some Candy Girl Cabaret.
