Valucap Investments Inc. announces revocation of cease trade orders

    TORONTO, Aug. 26 /CNW/ - Valucap Investments Inc. (NEX: V) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce that the Ontario Securities Commission, the
Alberta Securities Commission and the British Columbia Securities Commission
(collectively, the "Regulators") have each revoked the cease trade order (the
"CTOs") that it had previously issued against the Company for failure to file
its audited annual financial statements for the period ended March 31, 2004,
unaudited interim financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2004 and
certain supporting documents related thereto.
    The Company has also recently filed its audited financial statements for
the periods ended March 31, 2006, 2007 and 2008 with the Regulators, including
management's discussion and analysis of such results, which can all be found
under the Company's profile at The Company is now up-to-date
with its continuous disclosure filings.
    The Company has been inactive since 2004 and hopes to complete a series
of transactions to reactive itself which will involve continuing the Company
under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario), raising $3.5 to $4.0 million by
means of a private placement, relisting the Company's common shares from the
NEX (due to its inactivity) to the TSX Venture Exchange, and holding an annual
and special meeting of shareholders to discuss the Company's future
operations. Over the last couple of years, the Company has received some
financial assistance from Seaquest Corporation, a privately held company, and
Seaquest has indicated that it will also assist the Company in identifying
potential future investment opportunities.
    Management of the Company will keep all of its shareholders fully
informed of its progress in achieving these goals and recommencing operations
as a viable and profitable investment company interested in providing equity
and convertible capital to undervalued, underperforming and emerging growth
Canadian companies.
    Currently, Mr. Jeffrey Watts is the President and Chief Executive Officer
of the Company, Mr. Vince Bulbrook is the Chief Financial Officer of the
Company and Ms. Cynthia Lewis is the Secretary of the Company. Mr. Watts, 
Ms. Lewis, Ms. Magaly Bianchini and Mr. Antonio Cosentino are the directors of
the Company.
