Update No. 3 - Loss of Burlington Firefighter



    BURLINGTON, ON, Aug. 26 /CNW/ - Funeral arrangements have been finalized
for Burlington Firefighter Wayne Topping, who passed away at an international
Fire Extrication event held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
    Funeral Home Visitation will take place at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167
Guelph Line, one stoplight north of the QEW highway on Guelph Line in
Burlington.

    
              Tuesday August 28th, 2007: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

            Wednesday August 29th, 2007: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
                                         7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    

    A funeral with full fire department honours will take place as follows:

    Thursday August 30th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
    Central Arena and Recreation Centre, 519 Drury Lane, Burlington.

    A precession of uniformed fire department personnel will leave the Brant
street location of Smith's Funeral Home at approximately 12:15. It will
proceed south on Brant Street to James Street, east on James Street to New
Street and continue to Drury Lane where it will turn north to Central Arena.
    A private reception for uniformed personnel will be hosted by the
Burlington Professional Firefighters, Local 1552 immediately following the
funeral.
    Information about the funeral arrangements for Firefighter Wayne Topping

instructions for uniformed firefighters participating in the precession.
