United in laughter - The Capital One Just For Laughs Comedy Tour returns with international flair kicking off October 20 in Saint John, NB and heading across Canada coast to coast

The Just For Laughs Comedy Tour 2008 is back and taking Canada around the
world! Brace yourself for an all new show starring the hottest International
comics on the scene today. Featuring a killer line-up of talent from Scotland,
England, Ireland, Canada and the U.S., the tour will hit 18 cities across
Canada beginning October 20 in Saint John, NB and wrapping November 15 in
Victoria, BC. Saturday Night Live alum Finesse Mitchell will host the tour
beginning in Hamilton, Ontario. Joining the entire tour from coast to coast
are special guest and Scottish superstar, Danny Bhoy; Canadian talent Pete
Zedlacher; Irish breakout star David O'Doherty and Brit funnyman Hal
Cruttenden. The host for the Maritime leg of the tour will be announced

    Host: Finesse Mitchell (U.S.A.)

    From BET's Comic View to The Tyra Banks Show from Comedy Central
Presents... to the Today Show, Finesse Mitchell got his big break when he was
asked to be a feature player on NBC's Saturday Night Live and was promoted to
cast member in 2005. Long before becoming a regular on SNL, this author, actor
and former insurance salesman made an impact in the world of stand-up comedy,
with sold-out live performances all over the country and abroad. Finesse is a
writer for ESSENCE Magazine and his Comedy Central Half Hour Special is one of
its highest rated shows on the network. The funny man can also be seen in the
movies Who's Your Caddy?, The Comebacks and Mad Money. Finesse will host the
Tour from Hamilton to Victoria.

    Special Guest: Danny Bhoy (Scotland)

    Danny Bhoy began stand up in 1998. A year later, he won Britain's biggest
competition for comedy newcomers and in 2001, he took his first full length
solo show to the Edinburgh Festival, where, within a week, he had sold out his
entire three-week run. Since then, Danny has made annual appearances at all
the major comedy festivals around the world including Just For Laughs in 2005
where he received rave reviews for his outstanding set on the televised Gala
and was nominated for a Gemini Award. Danny returned to Montreal in 2007 for
the rare accolade of performing a 10-night solo run at the Gesu Theatre which
was completely sold out. Danny continues to break box office records

    Pete Zedlacher (Canada)

    This high energy performance comedian draws heavily from his working
class roots. Born and raised in the northern Ontario town of Wawa, Pete
Zedlacher has quickly become one of the top headlining comics in the country
as evidenced by his 2006 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-up. Pete
has appeared on his own episode of Comedy NOW! for CTV/The Comedy Network,
which recently in repeats received the 2nd highest ratings in the history of
the show and has performed four times at Just For Laughs. Pete has also made
numerous film and television appearances including: Little Mosque on the
Prairie, Puppets Who Kill, Degrassi: The Next Generation and most recently the
film American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile.

    David O'Doherty (Ireland)

    David O'Doherty first stepped on stage at Dublin's Comedy Cellar in 1998.
A year later he won the Channel 4 So You Think You're Funny? Award for new
comedians and was runner up in the BBC New Comedy Awards. His first full show
was performed at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2000 where he received a
nomination for Perrier Best Newcomer and this year he brought home Edinburgh's
prestigious If.com Award (formerly the Perrier Comedy Award). David has
performed at festivals around the world including three times at Just For
Laughs and has toured throughout Ireland with Tommy Tiernan, Britain with Rich
Hall and America with Demetri Martin. He has also written widely for
newspapers and magazines and published a book for children.

    Hal Cruttenden (England)

    Hal Cruttenden is one of the top comedians working in the UK today, as
well as being an accomplished writer and actor. Hal's big breakthrough in
stand-up came with his nomination for the Perrier Newcomer Award at the 2002
Edinburgh Festival for his solo show 'Hal', followed by a highly successful
run the following year, which was also performed at the Soho Theatre in
London. He is a regular performer at all the top UK clubs and supported Ardal
O'Hanlon and Omid Djalili on their recent nationwide tours. Hal has received
rave reviews at Just for Laughs and has performed across the globe. His many
television credits include appearances on Paramount Comedy Channel UK, The
Comedy Channel Australia, Comedy Central and BBC America in the U.S. and
