With WEKA the telephony services are controlled via the PC in
combination with IP telephones using the workplace software "AND
Desktop CTI". "It is extremely easy to answer/forward incoming calls in
an user-optimized way with just one mouse click," says Fendt.
Complicated key handling at the telephone console is not needed anymore
using computer telephony.
The attendant is instantly displaying all contacts found in the
corporate directory and can directly forward the caller. An unlimited
number of queues are available per attendant to be able to manage even
complex environments. By means of the queues it is not only possible to
forward callers directly to the attendant phone but attendants have the
possibility to place callers on hold or park them in queues. Also the
attendant has the possibility to see answered or missed calls.
