Trigon Expands Henry Mountains Land Position in Anticipation of May Drill Program and Adds to Golden, CO Uranium Team

KELOWNA, BC, April 17 /CNW/ - Trigon Uranium Corp. (TSX-V:TEL) today
announced it has recently completed the staking of 127 additional mining
claims at its Henry Mountains uranium project in south eastern Utah. In order
to establish an optimal drill program Trigon carried out geological analysis
and calculation of estimated drilling depths to uranium-bearing sandstone
horizons. Based on these studies, Trigon concluded that additional land in the
area should be acquired. The new staking increases the area controlled by
Trigon over the projected possible extension of the neighbouring Bullfrog
uranium deposits, which are scheduled for production in 2008.
Trigon's Henry Mountains property is located adjacent to the Bullfrog and
Tony M uranium deposits of Denison Mines Corp. These deposits reportedly host
more than 20 million pounds of U3O8. Trigon's main exploration target is the
possible extension of these deposits and the new claims are located along the
projected northwest trend of the Bullfrog deposits. With the addition of the
new claims the Henry Mountains Project now comprises 929 mining claims and
three Utah State leases totalling approximately 20,000 acres. The Henry
Mountains drill program is expected to commence in late May of this year.
