TREB President announces he will step down to accept European position

    TORONTO, Aug. 7 /CNW/ - TREB President Donald Bentley has announced that
he will step down as President of TREB effective October 1, 2007 to accept a
position as Director, Territorial Business Development for RE/MAX Europe.
    Using Vienna as a home base, Mr. Bentley will be working with Territorial
Owners throughout Europe to help improve professionalism and productivity.
    "Being elected by TREB Members to serve as President was a tremendous
honour. I am deeply grateful for the support of my fellow TREB Members as I
look forward to establishing new ties in Europe."
    President-Elect Maureen O'Neill will serve the remainder of the 2007/2008
term as President. She will also serve her term as President for the 2008/2009
    Ms. O'Neill is a Broker / Manager with Bosley Real Estate Inc. She has
more than 26 years of experience in organized real estate and she is a former
senior staff member of TREB. Ms. O'Neill has been involved with TREB in
numerous areas that include Communications, Education, Government Relations
and Professional Standards.

for his contributions to TREB since 1994 and wish him much success in his new
venture," said Ms. O'Neill.
