TransCore Adds ACE Compliance to Link OpsCenter, Company's Canadian Logistics Service

Provides Seamless Transition to U.S. Customs and Border Protection's
Mandatory Advance E-Manifest

TORONTO, January 30 /CNW/ - TransCore, which operates the largest North
American freight matching logistics service, adds Automated Commercial
Environment (ACE) integration to its Link OpsCenter product, now a part of
TransCore's 3sixty Operations Management. Within OpsCenter, Canadian users can
search for freight, import load information, and prepare all necessary
documentation, including their ACE electronic cargo manifest(s) which the
system intuitively completes, eliminating the time-intensive need to re-key
all data.

Since an estimated 84 percent of Canadian exports are U.S. bound with
approximately 53 percent delivered via long-haul and less-than-truckload
carriers, the potential impact of ACE compliance for Canadian carriers is
extraordinary. TransCore added the feature in response to the January 25,
2007, CBP implementation date requiring informed compliance at land border
ports in Washington and North Dakota. CBP's system will be phased in with full
compliance expected as early as April 26, 2007.

"As Canadian fleets scramble to respond to the operational impact of ACE,
products that relieve the burden and automate a process suddenly become
critical," explained Claudia Milicevic, TransCore's Link Logistics general
manager. "TransCore condensed multiple processes across systems into a single
step. Now, freight-matching customers can remain focused on moving freight not
bogged down filling out forms."

TransCore accelerated OpsCenter's integration for ACE compliance so
customers could easily transition to the U.S. mandated requirements to elevate
security across land-based ports of entry. Previously, TransCore provided ACE
compliance but only as a stand-alone capability. TransCore's Link Logistics
provides transportation services to more than 4,600 Canadian subscribers every
day. Together, those subscribers make close to 2 million requests daily within
the freight matching database.

    About OpsCenter

Introduced in April 2006 at Canada's Truck World Conference, OpsCenter
for carriers provided a comprehensive Web-based software application combining
TransCore's LoadLink(R) freight matching service, LinkDispatch(TM) management
services, GlobalWave(R) satellite-based asset tracking services and
ProMiles(R) mileage into a single, easy-to-access service.

Carriers can book orders, find carriers, find freight, track their
trucks, email their drivers, and process billings and payments from a single
computer screen anywhere they have Web access. OpsCenter makes using multiple
software applications obsolete, so less time is spent managing operations,
tying data together or correcting mistakes that occur while switching between
software programs. Since OpsCenter is a monthly pay-as-you-go Web application,
users access the most recent version and have access to full service and

With the introduction of 3sixty in fourth quarter 2006, OpsCenter is now
part of TransCore's 3sixty Operations Management suite of product and
services. 3sixty provides essential tools to gain a complete view of a large
or small transportation enterprise. Comprised of six segments, 3sixty includes
Operations Management, Freight Match, Fleet Management, Compliance Services,
Financial Services, and Rail-Intermodal. Each segment works independently or
in conjunction with the others, allowing carriers to assemble the optimal
services for running their business. For more information, visit
