Toyota Canada Celebrates Environment Week, June 3 - 9

    TORONTO, June 5 /CNW/ - Canadian Environment Week runs from June 3 to 9,
and Toyota Canada's spokespeople will be available at a number of events this
week that will highlight important environmental issues.

    What:  Toyota Hybrid Tour Kick Off - Toyota will launch its cross-
           country Hybrid Tour in Ottawa at Sparks Street Mall. Curious
           drivers can get behind the wheel of one of Toyota's fleet of
           hybrids, and learn more about hybrid technology and the
           environmental benefits. The tour will visit 12 malls across the
           country over the summer, including Ottawa, Quebec City, Laval,
           Montreal, Mississauga, Vaughan, Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton,
           Winnipeg, Burnaby and Richmond.

           In addition to the fleet of hybrids available for test drives, the
           next generation 2008 Highlander Hybrid will be on display.
           Launched at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year, the
           Highlander Hybrid prototype will make its first Canadian
           appearance at this event.

           Media are invited to join us for the launch of the tour to take a
           test drive, interview a Toyota Canada spokesperson and view the
           tour displays.

           will be presented at the 8th annual Toronto Smog Summit, an event
           produced by The Clean Air Partnership. The summit brings together
           Federal, Provincial and Municipal government leaders to discuss
           smog, air pollution and greenhouse gases.

           Toyota will be presenting at Strategy's Social Responsibility

           responsibility issues. For Toyota, worldwide and in Canada, social
           responsibility goes beyond philanthropy - it informs every
           decision and action.
