Toronto's Top Chef's Make Thanksgiving Pie-rific

TORONTO, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - Pie in the Sky, Thanksgiving 2009. Purchase a
gourmet pie for your Thanksgiving meal and provide a meal to 10 people living
with HIV/AIDS. Pie in the Sky is an annual event raising vital funds for the
Toronto People With AIDS Foundation's Food Programs - a food bank and meal
delivery service exclusively for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Chefs from establishments such as Daniel et Daniel, Canoe and TUNDRA
donate their version of the traditional Thanksgiving pie. Pies are available
for pick up Friday October 9th.

Order online at or call 416-506-1400.

About PWA: PWA exists to promote the health and well-being of all people
living with HIV/AIDS by providing accessible, direct, and practical support
services. Proper nutrition is vital to long-term survival of people with
HIV/AIDS. But the many financial stresses that can result from the disease
mean it is not always possible to get the needed, nutritious food. Last year
we provided over 30,000 meals.
