Toronto Hydro reports multiple power outages across the City of Toronto due to Storm Conditions

    TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - Emergency Toronto Hydro crews have been called
in to restore power to many areas of the city that were affected by severe
storm conditions tonight. As of approximately 7:00 p.m., Toronto Hydro Grid
Operations reports several outages in multiple areas all across the city
resulting from high winds and thunder. At this time it is unknown how many
customers are without power and it is unknown when power will be restored to
all areas.
    Emergency crews will work to restore the areas with the largest
concentration of outages first.
    Toronto Hydro reminds all customers and residents to exercise caution
around downed electrical wires and in areas of the City that are densely
populated by large trees.
