Top Canadian Pop - Soul vocalist pair up for national tour in early 2009

    TORONTO, Jan. 16 /CNW/ - DIVINE BROWN and SEAN JONES have paired up for a
live tour across Canada Q1 2009. Both artists plan to tour with full
production, full band, and the full force of their respective vocal power.

artists on one stage before and everyone who comes to see them is in for a

    R'n'B vocal diva, Divine Brown, is best known for her 2005 Canadian radio
hit "Old Skool Love." Her new album on Warner/Canada, The Love Chronicles, was
released on August 19, 2008. The first single is called "Lay it On the Line".
The second single is "Meet Me at the Roxy". The current single is "Sunglasses"
which is picking up momentum fast across Canada's Hot AC and CHR radio
stations. Having just finished touring with the Backstreet Boys for their
Unbreakable Tour in North America. Divine is eager to get back on the road.
    Like Divine, Sean Jones lives for live performance. His five piece band
commands a unique yet accessible "Soul over Rock" sound with rich vocal
harmonies, strong hooks in the melodies and plenty of pop rock guitar and
drums to give it a powerful edge. Fresh from his successful run as one of the
lead singers in the SONY/BMG Juno and Much Music Award winning group In
Essence, Sean Jones has forged a new sound for his solo career which embraces
his soul and R'n'B roots while allowing him new territory as a true singer
songwriter incorporating fresh pop rock tracks, signed to WIDEawake
Entertainment Group, produced by Maurice Jones Jr. with additional radio mix
production by Motown, La Face, Solar, Death Row famed engineer/producer John
Payne. Sean's first video single "This Is Love" off of his first release
entitled the same, has secured video rotation on Much More Music. Sean's
second single "Two Wrongs" hits Canadian radio's open arms January 2009.
