Thousands of Torontonians get a chance to breathe away stress at meditation festival

TORONTO, Sept. 19 /CNW/ - Nearly 10,000 Torontonians are expected to
gather later this week, starting Thursday Sept. 20, from all across the city
to learn from an Indian master of meditation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Renowned
as the "Stress-buster" and also the "Global Guru", Sri Sri's story has been
featured on CNN, the LA Times and Reuters. Sri Sri is followed by millions in
India and around the world and will be holding a meditation festival for the
first time in Toronto from Thursday, September 20 to Sunday, September 23.
Each day will consist of a stand-alone four-hour session. Journalists are
welcome to take part in the meditation and breathing classes for a
first-person story and attend the press conference below if they wish to speak
to Sri Sri. Diverse requests can be accommodated.
