The Société du 400e anniversaire de Québec Expresses its Heartfelt Sympathies to the Family of Mrs. Andrée Boucher

QUEBEC, Aug. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - It is with great regret that the Société
du 400e anniversaire de Québec has learned of the death of
Mrs. Andrée Boucher, Mayor of Québec City, earlier today.
"In the name of the entire team of the Société du 400e anniversaire de
Québec, I wish to express our most heartfelt sympathies to the family and
friends of Mrs. Boucher, as well as offer our support in these difficult
times," said Mister Jean Leclerc, Chairman of the Board for the Société du
400e anniversaire de Québec.
"Not only was she a very dynamic force in the production and organisation
of the celebrations for the 400th anniversary of Québec City, but she was also
an excellent ambassador for our city, both here and abroad. Her sudden demise
has shaken us all and reminds us of the ephemeral nature of the moments we all
share," noted Mister Leclerc.
