"The" Quebecer finally in Quebec - The first Canadian Supercar, the Plethore LC-750, presented at the 2011 Montreal Auto Show

MONTREAL, Jan. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - HTT Automobile is proud to announce that it will unveil the latest version of the Plethore LC-750, the first and only Canadian Supercar, at the 2011 Montreal Auto Show that will take place from January 14th to 23rd, 2011 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. HTT is the first company in Quebec and Canadian history to have developed a Supercar type vehicle. The HTT team will naturally be available at the Auto Show on January 13th to present the Pléthore to the media on that special day reserved for that express purpose.

The first drawings of the Pléthore were drafted almost 10 years ago but it is only in the last 2 years that HTT concentrated on finalising the numerous steps required to develop and manufacture a vehicle in the Supercar category. According to Mr Sébastien Forest, president of HTT, "The last 2 years were very productive for HTT. Even though we are still looking for an additional financial partner to facilitate and accelerate our future development, the investments that we made permitted us to bring the Pléthore to an impressive level. As a matter of fact, now that the Pléthore recently received the required approval from the government authorities to legally circulate on Quebec roads, you may have the good fortune to cross it during your travels this summer".

In the last few months, the Pléthore received the praise of journalists including some from the renowned Guide de l'Auto as well as the prestigious Asian SUPER MOTORS. They had the honour to be the first to road test the Pléthore LC-750 on a private track. The Guide de l'Auto even chose the Pléthore LC-750 to grace the cover of their 2011 edition.

The Pléthore LC-750, which will be displayed during the 2011 Montreal Auto Show, features numerous impressive characteristics. On top of its geometry of central driver position with 3 passengers and its body of carbon fibre, the Pléthore LC-750 possesses a 750hp motor and weighs in at a mere 1250kg. Its peak speed is almost 390 km/h and it can reach 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.

The 2011 Montreal Auto Show is the first Quebec event in which HTT will participate since 2007. In 2007, a first concept of this "future Supercar" had been unveiled at the Montreal Auto Show. This year, journalists and visitors will be able to admire the first Canadian Supercar, the Pléthore LC-750, in its last pre-production version.

2011 - A pivotal year.

"2011 will be an important year for HTT. 2010 allowed us to complete the vast majority of our road tests and to take our first marketing steps. We participated in a few international auto shows including the Barrett Jackson Show in January and the Top Marques Monaco in April. In 2011, we will reach the production phase and, of course, our first deliveries!" commented Mr Forest.

"Even though our target markets are Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East, we are really proud to present the fruit of our efforts to the Quebec and Montreal public. Home will always be home to us and we would be very happy to deliver a few Pléthore in Quebec" added Mr Forest.

On another note, the 2011 Montreal Auto Show took advantage of HTT's presence to build a publicity campaign (TV and print) in which stars the Plethore LC-750.

HTT invites the Quebec public to come at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from January 14th to 23rd at the 2011 Montreal Auto Show and see the Pléthore LC-750 with their own eyes.
