The Ontario Paramedic Association Annual Awards Gala & Celebrity Guest Keynote Address

    TORONTO, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - On Wednesday September 19, 2007, the OPA will
be hosting its annual Awards Gala as part of the Paramedicine 2007 Paramedic
Educational Conference being held in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Awards will be
given out for Appreciation, Exemplary Service and Acts of Valour. In addition,
a keynote address will be presented by TV Actor/Writer/Producer Randolph
Mantooth who played the character Paramedic John Gage in the 70's TV drama
    This gala, part of the Premiere Educational Conference for Ontario's
Paramedics, Paramedicine 2007, is being held at the Hilton Niagara Falls,
Fallsview Hotel @ 6361 Fallsview Boulevard, Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada L2G
3V9. Festivities get underway @ 6pm.
    "This is a time for us to honour our colleagues and enjoy the address by
a television actor who inspired a lot of us into becoming Paramedics," said
Mary Osinga from the OPA.
