TORONTO, June 24 /CNW/ - The Law Foundation of Ontario is pleased to
announce that the French version of its recently re-designed site
(www.lawfoundation.on.ca) is now live.
The bilingual site has been revised to reflect an updated and refreshed
look, which will better serve the legal community, grantees and the general
public. In addition to creating a more user-friendly site, the LFO has
included important information that outlines a new <a href="http://www.lawfoundation.on.ca/fr/grantseekers.php#understand">Granting Application</a>
"We are pleased that the additional information and resources,
particularly within the Grants Program section, are now available in French.
The LFO has always had a bilingual site, however the re-design is more
comprehensive and will serve as an effective communications tool," explained
LFO Chair, Larry Banack.
The LFO was established in 1974 under an amendment to the Law Society Act
to establish and maintain a fund to be used for legal education and legal
research, legal aid and the establishment, operation, and maintenance of law
