The Festival des traditions du monde welcomes new canadian citizens in Sherbrooke

    MONTREAL, Aug. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a
special citizenship ceremony as part of the Festival des traditions du monde.
Citizenship judge Barbara Seal will preside over the ceremony.

    60 years ago, Canadians were considered British subjects living in
Canada. The first Quebec citizenship ceremony was held on March 1st, 1947.
