TORONTO, Aug. 29 /CNW/ - The Canadian Migration Institute (CMI) is
delighted to announce that we are now the largest professional association of
certified Canadian Immigration Consultants (CCICs) who are members of the
Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) with a compliment of over
900 Fellows who have joined CMI. Although CMI Fellows are mostly members of
the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) we are pleased to
welcome a growing number of lawyers who are members of a provincial or
territorial bar as well as members of the Chambre des notaires du Quebec. To
register as a CMI Fellow the applicant must be one of; a member of CSIC, or a
member of a provincial or territorial Bar or a member of the Chambre des
notaires du Quebec.
The Canadian Migration Institute's mandate is to educate, accredit and
advocate on immigration related issues on behalf of CMI Fellows. CMI has
already given a National Immigration workshop, provided extensive resources
and tools to CMI Fellows which will assist them in offering a higher level of
service to their clients and made presentations on both a National and
Provincial level on behalf of CMI Fellows.
CMI is raising the standard of the immigration profession in Canada and
has gained the support of the vast majority of Immigration Professionals who
share CMI's philosophy and vision by becoming "CMI Fellows".
