QUEBEC, Aug. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canada Pavilion will be at Expo Québec
from August 15 to 26, 2007. This is an opportunity for Canadians to learn more
about the many programs and services offered by the Government of Canada and
to meet representatives from several departments and agencies.
Focusing on the theme Public Safety - Get Prepared, the Canada Pavilion
includes many interactive activities. For example, in the event of a natural
disaster, do you have what you need to be self-sufficient for at least
72 hours? With the aid of videos, demonstrations and interactive displays such
as the Earthquake Simulator, our representatives will explain how to get
prepared. Learn about precautions you should take when approached to support a
particular charity, and much more. You can also meet our mascot Bravo, who
will be around to entertain the young and young at heart.
Come and discover the federal programs and services available to you by
visiting the Canada Pavilion at Expo Québec.
The Canada Pavilion will stop at ten Canadian communities from coast to
coast this year. As the flagship of the Government of Canada's Exhibitions
Program, the Canada Pavilion has won a number of prizes and hosted more than
six and one-half million visitors since its creation in 2000.
