TORONTO, Aug. 14 /CNW/ - The Bay is proud to announce its first "Get It
Together" Designer Challenge, taking place during the month of August at the
Bay, Queen Street. The Challenge will feature four local design students
decorating one of four room settings: Kitchen, Bedroom, Living/Entertainment
Room, or Study.
The Bay contributed up to $1,500 in merchandise for the room redesigns,
which will be on display in the Queen Street store's windows until
August 23rd, 2007. Torontonians are encouraged to visit the windows and vote
for their favourite design via Hbc's website at www.thebay.com. The designer
with the most on-line votes will receive a $1,500 shopping spree at The Bay.
"What's more fun than setting four talented young designers loose in our
Bay Queen Street store and seeing where their imaginations take them," said
Patrick Dickinson, General Manager, Marketing, Hbc. "Not only does it showcase
some amazing design talent, but the wonderful home décor and furniture
products available at the Bay."
