Introducing the $5 TELUS Tablet Flex Plan

In response to customers' feedback, TELUS has launched a series of Clear and Simple initiatives including Clear Choice rate plans with no system access and carrier 911 fees, free SMS data notifications, device unlocking, and Clear and Simple international roaming rates reduced up to 60 per cent and available to anyone without a complicated travel pass.

TELUS' latest Clear and Simple initiative is the new Tablet Flex Plan, helping consumers avoid unexpected fees by offering a data plan designed for occasional use with the flexibility to accommodate spikes in data consumption without expensive overage charges. For only $5 per month for 10 megabytes (MB) of data, customers can enjoy peace of mind when using their tablet in areas without Wi-Fi coverage. If a customer goes over 10 MB in a month, the plan automatically flexes into the $10 tier offering up to 100 MB or, if needed, to the $20 tier with 500 MB or the $35 bucket with five Gigabytes (GB) per month.** This plan is perfect for customers who want a back-up to ensure they always have internet access even when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is available at TELUS locations today for $649.99.
