TeleTracking Announces Next Generation Bed Management Solution at HIMSS '09

Market Demand Drives Company Growth and Product Development

CHICAGO, April 6 /CNW/ -- TeleTracking Technologies announced today at
the 2009 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting
it is demonstrating its newest version of the highly popular Bed Management
Suite(TM), designed on its advanced TeleTracking XT platform.

The latest version of the industry-leading Bed Management Suite(TM)
leverages the features and capabilities available with the company's powerful,
next-generation patient flow platform, TeleTracking XT. Based upon proven
Microsoft(R) technologies, powerful new features include a scalable, flexible,
browser-based system that allows health systems to manage patient flow for one
hospital or several, all from this single platform.

"It's a true enterprise class patient flow solution designed for
information transparency and interoperability," stated Don DeCorte, Senior
Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, "and when combined with
TransportTracking on the 'XT' platform, hospitals have seamless, end-to-end
management of all aspects of patient flow and bed management."

The new release of BedTracking(R) and PreAdmitTracking(TM) with the
electronic bedboard(R), collectively known as the Bed Management Suite, joins
TransportTracking(TM) which was previously redesigned on the TeleTracking XT
platform and is in production at more than 50 hospitals throughout the US and
the United Kingdom. The core functions of automating the steps associated
with patient transport, bed turnover and more efficient patient placement
remain the same. As always, environmental services, transport management,
nursing, ED and PACU, and patient placement staff know the real-time status
of every bed and every patient, to more efficiently plan, manage and expedite
patient flow.

The redesigned applications on this new platform are just the beginning.
TeleTracking XT provides a robust development platform to expand its patient
flow portfolio and enter into strategic development partnerships such as the
one it announced this morning at HIMSS. TeleTracking and Hill-Rom announced a
strategic development agreement leveraging the strengths of each company.
TeleTracking XT will provide the robust technology necessary to integrate with
Hill-Rom's sophisticated NaviCare(R) Nurse Call system and future integration
opportunities with Hill-Rom's NaviCare Platform. About the integration
between the two companies leading solutions, Anthony Sanzo, President and
Chief Executive Officer stated, "Communicating the information from the
bedside via the NaviCare Nurse Call system immediately to TeleTracking's
real-time electronic bedboard(R) is yet another way to reduce lag time along
the patient flow continuum."

"This move demonstrates our total commitment to helping hospitals improve
the processes along the patient flow continuum," continued Sanzo. "Our
consistent growth and stability despite the economic climate, underscores the
need hospitals have to maximize their existing capacity by being more
efficient. Not just adding more beds."

The arrangement will also leverage the sales channels of both companies
and enhance their customers' ability to coordinate information critical to
effective patient care and patient flow.

TeleTracking's new Bed Management Suite(TM) powered by TeleTracking
XT(TM) will be available for General Release in July 2009 and can be seen
today at HIMSS Booth 3603.
