Synodon Completes First Phase of Flight Trials with realSens(TM) Instrument

    EDMONTON, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - Synodon Inc. ("Synodon") (TSXV-SYD), announces
that is has successfully completed the first phase of airborne testing with
its realSens(TM) instrument. Based on preliminary data analysis, the results
indicate that the instrument is performing as expected, and within design
parameters. This milestone sets the stage for the next phase of testing using
simulated natural gas leaks, expected to occur in the next two weeks.

    Synodon Inc. ( is an Edmonton based technology company
which is developing an advanced natural gas pipeline leak detection system
called realSens(TM), based on correlation spectroscopy technologies developed
under the Canadian Space Program and by Synodon scientists. This project has
received financial support from a number of Government of Canada programs
including Sustainable Development Technologies and Natural Resources Canada.
