today that Summit Financial Technologies Canada has established a data centre
in Vancouver, BC, and is negotiating for a second data centre to be located in
Toronto by year's end. The data centres are part of Summit's growing
infrastructure to support service bureau and resource management delivery of
iSpectrum, the only banking system built with 21st century Internet standards
exclusively for Canadian credit unions. The technology and design of iSpectrum
offers a level of performance, flexible functionality and efficiency
previously unavailable to Canadian credit unions using service bureau delivery
for their core processing.

    With redundant hardware, the Summit Vancouver data centre has no single
point of failure for supporting 24/7 operations and can offer Summit service
bureau clients maximum system availability. The data centre is co-located with
Bell Canada and taps directly into the main Internet pipeline for Western
Canada, delivering the fastest, most reliable service available. Fiber optic
connectivity ensures unparalleled speed, immunity to electrical interference,
and increased data security. The Toronto data centre will function as the
real-time backup and recovery facility for all Summit service bureau and
resource management clients. By locating data centres in different geographic

    Summit recently opened its full service operations centre in Burnaby, BC
to run the two data centres and support Summit clients with in-house training,
