TORONTO, Aug. 1 /CNW/ - The new 08/09 SPC Card launches today, providing
students more relief than ever on the cost of their back-to-school shopping.
York University student, Yazzy Islam says; "From clothes to gas to
groceries, every thing seems to cost more than what we paid last year. And on
a student budget, that makes saving more important now then ever before."
SPC Card is Canada's most popular discount program with over 500,000
members and 110 retail chains such as Aldo, Bluenotes, the Bay, Foot Locker
and Zellers. SPC Card offers students 10%-15% off almost all their basic
purchases such as fashion, food, shoes and more.
"Developing and maintaining a strong customer relationship begins early
by positioning your brand in the minds of young consumers as the best source
for all their consumer electronic needs. The Source by Circuit City is proud
to be a part of this year's SPC Card youth loyalty program", said Patty
Brundritt, Marketing Project Manager for the retailer.
Some new retailers include Ardène, Claire's, Designer Depot, Fairweather,
Hockey Experts, i&F, Labels, Les Ailes de la Mode, Lucky Brand Jeans, Orange
Julius, Parasuco, The Source by Circuit City and Tip Top Tailors.
