Student survival guide: Desjardins invites students to a chat on how to manage personal finances - An innovative way to reach students as they head back to school

LEVIS, QC, Sept. 9 /CNW Telbec/ - The beginning of the school year is an
ideal time for Desjardins Group to stay in touch with its young members.
Desjardins is therefore inviting students to chat with a youth clientele
representative on two occasions, September 16 and 23, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m.
The first chat, on the theme "Let's talk money!" will provide tips and
tricks on how to avoid having to tighten your belt. The second chat, the
"Student survival guide", will focus on bursaries, savings and financing
options. To participate in the chat, Internet users can go to and follow instructions. It's an event you
won't want to miss!
By offering chat sessions to student Internet users, Desjardins Group
offers yet another way young people can get the tools they need to manage
their personal finances.
Financial education is an integral part of Desjardins Group's mission.
With the Internet, Desjardins is available at all times to young people
seeking advice at whatever time is most convenient for them.
