Steelworkers to vote on first contract with Saint John Delta

    SAINT JOHN, NB, June 25 /CNW/ - Members of the United Steelworkers (USW)
will vote Tuesday on a tentative first-contract settlement reached late last
week with the Delta Brunswick Hotel.
    Details of the settlement will not be released until the 115 workers have
a chance to review them on the day of the vote, which will take place at
meetings from 8:30 a.m. through to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
    The employees work as laundry, housekeeping, kitchen, restaurant and bar
staff, and provide maintenance for Brunswick Square. The hotel is at 39 King
Street, Saint John.

    The USW represents more than 280,000 men and women working in every
sector of Canada's economy.
