St. Eugene Mining Corporation grants options to Advisory Group

    VANCOUVER, June 18 /CNW/ - (TSX.V: SEM) - Rolly Trenaman, President,
advises that the first meeting of the Company's Advisory Group comprised of
David Gunning, John Robins, Victor Jones, Bill Trenaman and Kirsti Mattson was
held on June 13, 2007. Over the next few months, this Group will work with
Management to maximize the potential of the Company's flagship Moyie
zinc/silver/lead property located approximately 20 kms south of Cranbrook,
B.C. In addition, the Group will assist with identifying and securing joint
venture opportunities as well as assisting in future financing requirements.
In consideration of their efforts, the Group has been granted 500,000
options (125,000 each) at a price of $0.18.
As we reported earlier in the week, drilling continues at Moyie where
4,000 metres of drilling are planned as part of the first phase of 2007
exploration. Six high-priority zinc/silver/lead targets were identified in
2006 work and two of these - Monroe Lake Vent and Society Girl -- were drilled
with results reported in our news release dated April 23, 2007. This year's
drilling, which commenced at the end of April and which will last until the
first week of July, is designed to give dimensions to the Society Girl zone as
well as to test the four remaining untested targets; drilled samples have just
been sent for assay and we expect results shortly.
The Moyie Project is located in an historic metal mining basin, which
stretches from Idaho's Coeur d'Alene silver/lead camp to BC's 250 million ton
Sullivan zinc/silver/lead mine. Ore has been continuously produced from this
area for over 120 years. From 1900-1911, the St. Eugene Mines produced
1.4 million tons of ore grading 5% zinc, 15% lead and 7 opt silver from three
main ore shoots - Lakeshore, Moyie and St. Eugene. At today's prices, the
value of the St. Eugene ore per tonne is more valuable than that of the
Sullivan, the latter of which at today's prices would be valued at US
$50 billion.

    On behalf of the Board,

    "R.T. Trenaman"
    President & CEO
