ST. Eugene Mining Corp. reports additional zinc/silver/lead assays from Moyie Lake, BC

    TSX VENTURE SEM

VANCOUVER, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - Rolly Trenaman, P. Eng., President of St.
Eugene Mining Corp. (TSX.V: SEM), is pleased to report additional high-grade
zinc/silver/lead assay results from the company's diamond drilling program at
its Moyie Lake Property, approximately 20 kilometres south of Cranbrook in
southeastern, B.C.
Three new drill holes - SG 07-10, and for SG 07-12, and SG 07-13 -
intersected and provided a preliminary test of a previously unknown "North
Vein" structure, approximately 40 metres to the north (footwall side) of the
South Vein St. Eugene structure tested by previous holes.
Hole SG 07-12 averaged 70% lead (preliminary result), 6.67% zinc and
21 ounces per ton (opt) silver over an estimated true thickness of 0.2 metres.
Hole SG 07-13 averaged 15.2% lead, 6.19% zinc and 4.2 opt silver over an
estimated 0.3 metres. In both holes SG 07-12 and SG 07-13, the above reported
samples results are bracketed by lower-grade fracture mineralization. Hole SG
07-10 Extension also intersected lower-grade mineralization in the "North
Vein" structure.
The spring 2007 drill program totaled 3385 metres and was focused on
testing four of the five targets identified for the Moyie Lake Project. The
four targets tested in the current program were the North Zone, Aurora,
Society Girl and John D.
The drill results reported below are from the extension of SG 07-10, and
for SG 07-12, and SG 07-13. In reading this release, readers are invited to
refer to previous news release 07-13 which describes the general geological
setting in which these holes were drilled.
The composites of the most recent assay results are shown below:

Additional sampling of core from these holes, adjacent to the intervals
included here, and for certain sections of a number of other holes from the
Society Girl target, is under way, and results will be reported when
available.
All assay results will be posted on the company's web page at
www.steugenemining.ca as soon as they are available.
The Moyie Project is located in an historic metal mining district, which
stretches from Idaho's Coeur d'Alene silver/lead mining camp to BC's
150-million-ton Sullivan zinc/silver/lead mine. Zinc/silver/lead ores have
been continuously produced from this area for more than 120 years. From
1900-1911, the St. Eugene Mines reportedly produced approximately 1.4 million
tons of ore grading 5% zinc, 15% lead and 7 opt silver from three main ore
shoots - Lakeshore, Moyie and St. Eugene.
