NORFOLK COUNTY, ON, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd.
(SHL:TSX-V) is pleased to report drill results on the Company's lead-zinc
prospect in Western Newfoundland. The Company drilled two vertical holes
100 metres apart totalling 119.5 metres. DDH TR-01 cut a mineralized zone from
3.48 metres to 16.08 metres with an average of 3.65% Pb and 0.19% Zn over
12.6 metres, including 7.19% Pb and 0.39% Zn over 5.80 metres. Mineralization
in hole TR-02 extended from 1.02 metres to 14.82 metres, averaging 1.47% Pb
over 13.8 metres, including 4.12% Pb over 2.10 metres.
The Company has completed line cutting over this area and a gravity
survey will begin shortly to identify additional drilling targets.
Assays quoted in this news release were performed by Accurassay
Laboratories of Thunder Bay, Ontario using ICP techniques. Technical
