On sale Monday morning for fans travelling to Toronto
TORONTO, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - A special block of tickets to the Grey Cup
Championship is available for people travelling to Toronto for the big game.
The block will go on sale Monday morning (November 19) at 9:00 a.m. ET so that
fans of the two cities competing in the Grey Cup have an opportunity to follow
their teams to Toronto for the game and festivities.
Tourism Toronto, as a partner of Grey Cup 2007, is making the block of
tickets available as part of travel packages including hotel and breakfast.
More than 30 hotels are part of the special block ensuring there is a wide
range of service and price options.
Fans can also include passes to other events of the 2007 Grey Cup
festival in their packages, such as the Nissan Rogue Grey Cup Tailgate Party
featuring the Barenaked Ladies and a Front of the Line Pass for the Molson
Canadian Party Series featuring three great nights of concerts at the Metro
Toronto Convention Centre.
"Toronto is already buzzing with Grey Cup energy - for the game of
course, and just as much for the four days of street festivals, parties and
concerts," said David Whitaker, President and CEO of Tourism Toronto. "We know
fans will want to follow their team to Toronto so we're making the last block
of tickets available to those dedicated fans of CFL football."
The special packages will be on sale from Monday at 9:00 a.m. ET until
Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. ET through Tourism Toronto at 1-800-499-2514. Additional
